Lindsay Lohan just can't catch a break these days. Her career seems over and her one glimmer of hope as Artistic Advisor to fashion house Ungaro seems to be coming to a screeching halt. With the dismal (to put it mildly) reviews from Ungaro's Spring 2010 show at Paris Fashion Week in October, it wasn't a surprise when Emanual Ungaro the line's founder followed suit with some very unflattering commentary reportedly saying, "Lindsay Lohan's collaboration was a disaster."

Having left the house in 2005, he is completely appaulled with the direction Ungaro has gone and the people they have chosen to represent it. "I am furious but I can't do anything about it" says Ungaro regretibly.

"That happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls."

Where does our favorite disaster go from here?

So it's time for a match up fragrance edition, Who's hotter Kate Moss for YSL Parisienne or Scarlett Johanson for D&G Rose The One?

With the hype surrounded around the unveiling of December covers of O, The Oprah Magazine and Oprah herself fitted into one of his creations he is sure to launch into a household name.

Rihanna definitly made a statement at Glamour Magazine's 2009 Women of the Year awards in Stephane Rolland Couture from the fashion house's Fall 2009 show.

I want to support RiRi, love the drama, love the color, love the shape, love the insanely inventive pleating but this is soo not working for me. She is the only diva who can even come close to pulling this off but she is soo not. RiRi's infamous bod is completely devoured in that fabric in the most unflattering sort of way. This is a leave it on the runway moment if there ever was one.

What do you think?

British fashion editors want to do their part to help the economy by launching a magazine? Seems a bit crazy with the closing of more than a few publications in the past year but lets get this one straight it's not a magazine, it's a book.

Editor in Cheif , Becky Smith [Creative Director & founder of Lula], Features Editor, Aimee Farrel [Vogue U.K.], and Art Director, Francesca Gavin [Dazed & Confused and British Elle] have a grasp of what today's magazine consumer is looking for in a publication. In the vain of Lula, Wanchor & Sketchbook, they hope this biannually produced, Twin Magazine, will have a sense of permanence. Farrel said to Vogue magazine "with the instant communication of blogs and the Web, [Twin Magazine] feels a little more simple, considered, and less throwaway. It’s an object to keep and covet.”

Featuring fashion's elite, Twin's first issue includes Todd Selby's take on his own home, model Freja Beha Erichson delivers her darkside in leather, Carol Ann Duffy, the first female poet laureate, curates a poetry portfolio and an article by my fav Parisian street stylist, Garance Dore.

It's just a bit yum wouldn't you say. Launch party photos to come...

+ J.Crew Thanks Savior & Creative Director Jenna Lyons with $1 million one time bonus. Jenna, don't cash that check too soon there are terms to this gift. If she leaves before October 27, 2011 she must return the entire bonus and before October 27, 2012 she must return half of it. I guess Jenna isn't the only clever employee at J.Crew. MKA made an unexpected appearance last Wednesday at Isaac Mizrahi's QVC launch in New York City. Rarely are our favorite "actresses" and more importantly fabulous designers & fashionistas, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, spotted together in public anymore (or spending the evening sipping Vueve).

Thank you KH! xoxo

Have you seen the commercial for YSL's new fragrance, Parisienne?
Not to be missed, watch Kate Moss in action...

Watch out girls! It model of the moment, Lara Stone, held her coming out party only a few months ago (August 09 W Magazine Cover Girl) and is taking all of your pages.

Noted as the alterna model, using her more womanly figure, adorable gap between her two front teeth and the "X rated lips" as her amo, she has since landed covers of French Vogue and Numero in September and the upcoming Britsh Vogue December issue. Although seemingly launched from nowhere this model has been working steadily in European and Asian markets since she signed with Elite in 1999. Working with some of fashion's photography notables, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin , Steven Meisel, Paolo Riversi and more...check out some of her past, present and upcoming work here.

The Hair, The Glasses, The Controversy! Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour is undeniably the Queen B of fashion and one of the most influential women in business.

Your chance to get a taste of Anne is revealed in R.J. Cutlers upcoming film which documents the production of it's largest issue to date, September 2007.

I'm dying to see it when it opens (August 28th NYC, September 11th Nationwide) until then I must bide my time with glittering images from the premiere in New York, check out more photos from the fashionable fete at style.com.

Psss. From what I hear, despite the amicable appearance above, Anna is not a huge fan of Sienna Miller (who has graced the cover of Vogue 3 times since 2006 ) reportedly calling her "toothy" ...

Psss2. MUST MENTION ANNA HAS BEEN APPOINTED BY MR. B HIMSELF FOR THE PRESIDENT'S COMMITEE ON THE ARTS & HUMANITIES...what does this mean and OMG can't wait for her first decision...
