Lindsay Lohan just can't catch a break these days. Her career seems over and her one glimmer of hope as Artistic Advisor to fashion house Ungaro seems to be coming to a screeching halt. With the dismal (to put it mildly) reviews from Ungaro's Spring 2010 show at Paris Fashion Week in October, it wasn't a surprise when Emanual Ungaro the line's founder followed suit with some very unflattering commentary reportedly saying, "Lindsay Lohan's collaboration was a disaster."

Having left the house in 2005, he is completely appaulled with the direction Ungaro has gone and the people they have chosen to represent it. "I am furious but I can't do anything about it" says Ungaro regretibly.

"That happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls."

Where does our favorite disaster go from here?

Rihanna definitly made a statement at Glamour Magazine's 2009 Women of the Year awards in Stephane Rolland Couture from the fashion house's Fall 2009 show.

I want to support RiRi, love the drama, love the color, love the shape, love the insanely inventive pleating but this is soo not working for me. She is the only diva who can even come close to pulling this off but she is soo not. RiRi's infamous bod is completely devoured in that fabric in the most unflattering sort of way. This is a leave it on the runway moment if there ever was one.

What do you think?

British fashion editors want to do their part to help the economy by launching a magazine? Seems a bit crazy with the closing of more than a few publications in the past year but lets get this one straight it's not a magazine, it's a book.

Editor in Cheif , Becky Smith [Creative Director & founder of Lula], Features Editor, Aimee Farrel [Vogue U.K.], and Art Director, Francesca Gavin [Dazed & Confused and British Elle] have a grasp of what today's magazine consumer is looking for in a publication. In the vain of Lula, Wanchor & Sketchbook, they hope this biannually produced, Twin Magazine, will have a sense of permanence. Farrel said to Vogue magazine "with the instant communication of blogs and the Web, [Twin Magazine] feels a little more simple, considered, and less throwaway. It’s an object to keep and covet.”

Featuring fashion's elite, Twin's first issue includes Todd Selby's take on his own home, model Freja Beha Erichson delivers her darkside in leather, Carol Ann Duffy, the first female poet laureate, curates a poetry portfolio and an article by my fav Parisian street stylist, Garance Dore.

It's just a bit yum wouldn't you say. Launch party photos to come...
